The film is about Anaïs (Anaïs Demoustier), an independent but slightly upset 30-year-old. She meets Daniel (Denis Podalydès), a publisher with whom something could be born, but who she doesn’t want to leave Emilie (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi), a writer with whom she has been together for twelve years. Anaïs is immediately fascinated by the figure of Emilie and when by chance he meets her she begins to have a feeling for her that he has never felt for anyone else.
