The boy arrested for the murder of Chiara Gualzetti, the same age who disappeared from home on Sunday morning and found lifeless yesterday afternoon in the regional park of the Abbey of Monteveglio, in the Bolognese area, a few hundred meters from the house where she lived, is 16 years old. To nail him above all a chat between him and his victim and one of the boy with a friend common. The arrest decree issued by the Prosecutor’s Office for minors was carried out in the night, at 4.30, by the carabinieri of the operating unit of the Borgo Panigale company and by the carabinieri of the investigative unit of the provincial command of Bologna, after the confession of the young man the last to be seen in the company of Chiara.

The measure “arose from the multiple objective evidence that emerged”, the military personnel explain, as well as from the confession made by the suspect. But the motive for the murder is still being examined by the investigators. From the interrogation of the sixteen-year-old it would have emerged that the two knew each other, had been dating for some time, but did not have a romantic relationship. Precisely the type of relationship between the two and the exchanges they had in recent days are being examined by the investigators, the carabinieri and the Prosecutor’s Office for minors of Bologna. In particular, the investigators’ attention is focused on the young woman’s social networks, where some messages would show some discomfort, or adolescent insecurities. On her profiles we read: “I’m not perfect but sometimes I like the disaster I am”. You invite them to “be herself”. And doubts: “They tell me that I have a beautiful body, they tell me that I am intelligent and beautiful … and it always turns out that when they say it, they say it to take advantage of my body and my intelligence … Or they disappear, they get tired of trying to use my body and they get tired of my intelligence. “

At the disposal of the juvenile judicial authority, the 16-year-old was taken to a Juvenile Justice Center, while the 16-year-old’s body was taken to Bologna. “My client is very shaken and has made himself fully available. We understand the pain of the family. Which is the pain of two families”, says the lawyer Tania Fonzari, the boy’s trusted defender. The lawyer was at the young man’s side until late at night, when the interrogation ended.
