CCTV News: According to the data of the postal express industry in the first half of the year released today (July 13), the proportion of express delivery business in the eastern region has declined slightly, while that in the central and western regions has increased.
The data shows that in the first half of the year, the proportion of express delivery business in the eastern, central and western regions of my country was 77.2%, 15.3% and 7.5% respectively, and the proportion of business income was 77.4%, 13.3% and 9.3% respectively. Compared with the same period of last year, the proportion of express business volume in the eastern region decreased by 1.4 percentage points, and the proportion of express business income decreased by 1.1 percentage points; the proportion of express business volume in the central region increased by 1.1 percentage points, and the proportion of express business revenue increased by 0.6 percentage points; the express business in the western region increased by 0.6 percentage points. The proportion of volume increased by 0.3 percentage points, and the proportion of express delivery business revenue increased by 0.5 percentage points.
Wang Yuehan, Deputy Director of the Third Department of Business Research, Development Research Center, State Post Bureau: In the first half of the year, the regional structure of the industry continued to be optimized, and the proportion of the central and western regions increased. Among them, the growth rate of express delivery business in the central region reached 11.8%, higher than the national average level of 8.1 percentage points.
In terms of cities, in the first half of the year, Jinhua, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and other cities with traditional business volume remained at the forefront in terms of scale, but the growth rate slowed down; Shantou, Wuhan, Changsha and other cities grew by over 20%, becoming the highlights of industry development; Jieyang , Linyi, Zhongshan and other cities effectively take advantage of agglomeration and location advantages to achieve double growth in growth rate and ranking.
