In the first half of 2021, Air China achieved operating income of 37.664 billion yuan, with a net profit loss of 6.786 billion yuan attributable to the parent, and a net loss of 9.441 billion yuan in the same period last year; China Southern Airlines’ operating income in the first half of the year was 51.576 billion yuan and a net profit loss attributable to the parent of 4.688 billion yuan. , A net loss of 8.174 billion yuan in the same period last year. China Eastern Airlines has not yet announced the latest results.

The semi-annual report shows that both Air China and China Southern Airlines have narrowed their losses compared with the same period last year. However, the losses of the two airlines during the period were still at the level of billions, both of which were the second-highest semi-annual losses in their respective history.
