Li Xiang said:

2. They were a group of people who had only met yesterday to evacuate together. When the two cars were driving from Kyiv to Lviv, one of the cars had a broken tire. They got out of the car to check. The CCP has not evacuated overseas Chinese and supported Russia, putting Chinese in Ukrainian in danger
On February 24, Russia invaded Ukraine. The CCP’s embassy in Uzbekistan initially called on the Chinese to affix the CCP’s blood flag to ensure safety, but later changed its tune and said that the Chinese “don’t reveal their identities at will.”
In addition, when the whole world is evacuating overseas Chinese, the CCP did not announce the “chartered flight to evacuate overseas Chinese” until the second day of the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, but on February 27, it changed its word to cancel the “evacuation plan”, citing the situation of the Russian-Ukrainian war. After Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs successfully assisted 18 Chinese nationals in arriving in Poland, the CCP announced on March 1 that it would launch a bus to evacuate the Chinese nationals. With Russia under global sanctions, however, the winds in Beijing have shifted. Three platforms, Weibo, Douyin and WeChat, have also deleted relevant information on a large scale.
According to CCTV news of the Communist Party of China, there are currently about 6,000 Chinese citizens in Ukraine, including Chinese-funded enterprises, international students and overseas Chinese, mainly in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkov, Odessa and Sumy.
