Vandals in action last night in Ciconio. Between 2 and 5, someone opened a surface fire hydrant in Castegna street, causing the aqueduct storage tanks to empty. Tens of thousands of liters of water have been wasted. The mayor Fabrizio Ferrarese gave the news through social media. “I hope that this stunt is not due to the celebrations for Italy’s victory – writes the mayor – otherwise our national team will also have won the tournament, but some Italians have lost the battle against ignorance”. The video footage from the cameras is being checked to identify the person responsible.
