The Civil Protection of Campania has issued a critical warning for weather risk from “heat wave”. Starting from 8 am tomorrow morning, Wednesday 23 June and until 8 pm on Friday 25 June, temperatures above the seasonal average values ​​of 7-8 degrees are expected throughout the region (the mercury column can reach 37-38 degrees) and a humidity rate that, especially in the evening and night hours on the coastal sector, may even exceed 60-70% and in conditions of poor ventilation. The Regional Operations Room, in consideration of the notice issued by the Civil Protection Functional Center, invites the mayors of all the Municipalities and the competent bodies to put in place the procedures pertaining to them relating to the supervision of the fragile sections of the population. It is recommended not to expose yourself to the sun or to practice sports during the hottest hours. Particular attention must be paid to heart patients, the elderly, children and people at risk.
