All’s well that ends well and the national rafting competition with the First Imsfrane Cathedral Cup organized by the Royal Moroccan Rafting Federation in Oued Ahansal ended in apotheosis on Wednesday June 07, 2023.
The number of athletes / rafters registered for this first competition of its kind in Morocco is 35 rafters accompanied by 06 safety follower kayakers representing 06 national clubs affiliated to the Royal Moroccan Rafting Federation, the organizer of this national sporting event in the Cours des running waters of Oued Ahansal in the Province of Azilal.
Remember that the first shot of starters for this timed Rafting competition was given at the starting point located at the foot of the Imsfrane Cathedral to descend along the Ahansal wadi over a distance of 07 km to reach the arrival point located at the level of the Tilougguite bridge.

Rafting, or rafting, is a leisure activity or a sport which consists of descending sections of river with rapids in an inflatable raft handled either by paddle by several team members, or by rowing by a single individual, or even exceptionally using motors on very large rivers
