For Friday, June 17, the trade unions AL Cobas, together with other autonomous and grassroots groups, have called a general national transport strike for 24 hours.

The strike was called «against the war; for the respect of the Italian Constitution and for the elimination of all health and opinion discrimination; against any form of dismissal, for safety in the workplace and for an inter-category minimum wage; against the policies of the Draghi government and the European Union, aimed at unloading the crisis and emergency states on the shoulders of male and female workers; against relocation, privatization and against the liberalization of subcontracting and evictions; against speculative price increases; against any instrumental use of the state of emergency; against any form of limitation of the right to strike; against the “jobs act” and the Fornero law ».

Trenitalia: regular Frecce and Intercity

Trenitalia Frecce and Intercity trains will circulate regularly on the occasion of the staff strike of the FS Italiane Group proclaimed by some autonomous trade unions, in adherence to a general strike, from 21 today, Thursday 16 June, to 21 tomorrow, Friday 17 June 2022. Trenitalia announces this in a note specifying that Regional connections will also be guaranteed in the commuter bands (6.00-9.00 and 18.00-21.00). Also in the rest of the day, we also read «Trenitalia undertakes to ensure almost all connections, with possible slight changes to the train schedule».

Atm, the Milanese transport company, informs that the strike could affect the ATM lines from 8:45 am to 3 pm and from 6 pm at the end of the service.
