Caucasian citizens expect results regarding the management of public resources.

The Comptroller General of Cauca, whose results are little recognized, began a Comprehensive Audit in the Government of Cauca, with the objective of evaluating the administrative and financial management corresponding to the 2023 term.

The audit process will cover a review of various key aspects, including financial statements, budget reasonableness, contractual management, investment of expenditure, review of the fiscal account, evaluation of the improvement plan and internal fiscal control.

This entity points out that the performance of this audit is part of the control commitment to guarantee transparency and good management of public resources in the region. He adds that he seeks to offer recommendations for improving processes and optimizing the execution of resources in the Government of Cauca.

Hernán Grueso Zúñiga, Comptroller of Cauca, led the opening ceremony of said audit, accompanied by the management team and the officials in charge of the audit.

The Secretaries of Health, Mario J. Campo, attended; general, Edgar Gómez Castillo; Treasury, Neyla Yadira Amu Vente, Government and Participation, Miller Miguel Hurtado and Carlos Alberto Daza, head of Internal Control of the Government of Cauca.
