Concurrent competitions, it is controversy – breaking latest news

Two competitions announced on the same days: taking part in one test excludes the right to present oneself to the other. The tests to select 160 nurses and aspire to a permanent contract were set by the “Ruggi d’Aragona” company on 10 and 11 June at the “Palapartenope” Theater in Naples. While the leaders of the “San Pio” of Benevento have called the preselection test to win a fixed-term position for 50 nurses at the “Palatedeschi” in the days between 8 and 11 June, staggering the candidates in alphabetical order. And they arise from the CISL, because the candidates suitable to participate in both tests will have to make a choice, not having the possibility to present themselves at both at the same time. Raffaele Iannone, CISL company secretary of the “Ruggi” plant, is the spokesperson for all the delegates, who are Gaetano Biondino, Gaetano Tortora, Vito Pumpo, Bonaventura Di Pietro, Antonio Guariglia, Giovanni Lopez, Pino Panzuto and Giuseppe De Chiara: « The dates will discriminate a priori the subjects participating in the selection, forced to choose between the calls, and given that over 1,500 professionals have already passed the pre-selection tests at the “Ruggi” they will opt for this test, deserting that of Benevento ».

For the union, the contemporaneity of the competition dates will harm young people who are currently temporary employees, contribute to countering the effects of the epidemic in health centers and now they are forced to choose among the various opportunities the one considered the best. “Yet – observe the CISL – a delay of two days would be enough to make it possible for everyone to participate, including the over 1,500 who are preparing for the written test of the Salerno body, favoring maximum guarantee and opportunities for all participants to prepare for the better and at the same time guarantee health services in the best possible way ». They would be an appropriate sensitivity and a signal of common sense for those who have not only responded to the appeal without holding back to fight Covid in their own land, but also hope that they will not be denied any chance, giving them the right to participate in both selective procedures.
