She will be replaced by the councilor of Avanti Tutta (formerly Forza Italia), Cristina Sardi. In the “Chies 1” council, the Northern League’s Christian Boscariol, later Floriano Zambon, had been ousted in 2018 for various political reasons. This time the story appears different and the handover shared between the mayor Fabio Chies, the former councilor and the Avanti Tutta group.

I come from experiences in the private sector in which one is used to thinking and doing with a certain consequentiality, instead entering the administration one realizes that the first victim of the bureaucracy is the administration itself. Any initiative has stakes, it is a machine that has heavy rules, I did not expect it to be so influential. The winning thing, on the other hand, is the world of associations, on which I hope we will continue to bet. I have known many associations, we were now starting to get going, I am particularly sorry ».

New councilor for Culture, associations, museum system, library e Sarcinelli, active citizenship, is the engineer Cristina Sardi, councilor from 2012 to 2020 with FI, in October she entered the council with Avanti Tutta following the appointment of councilors and resignations of other elected representatives. “If instead of calling it bureaucracy in the negative sense we call it procedure, it is a great challenge,” said the new commissioner Sardi. “I am quite worried, but picking up the baton from Chiara I know that I will have the support of her, as well as of the mayor and of the whole council.” Her place on the city council will be taken by Marzia Bottecchiacurrent minority councilor in San Vendemiano.
