CONEGLIANO. The Christmas atmosphere in the city is overheating between the municipal administration and the Conegliano in Cima trade association.

“They are not good for the city and in particular for commerce”, Claudia Brugioni, councilor for events, comments on the choice of the leaders of the association to celebrate the opening of the Christmas village in Vittorio Veneto. The president Patrizia Loberto and the deputy Stefano Sperandio toasted Saturday evening at the “Casa del druido”, the small house of IdeAzione Conegliano, in the Christmas village in Piazza del Popolo in Vittorio Veneto.

Sperandio collaborated for the construction of the stand. Criticisms have rained and there are those who have asked for their resignation. “I had the privilege of playing the role of councilor with responsibility for trade from July 2019 to November 6, 2020 and understanding the needs of traders – says Brugioni -. Also for this reason I understand very well the warning that many of them today address to the administration, asking them to work in synergy for the good of Conegliano ».

Conegliano in Cima, which has always organized Christmas in Conegliano, was excluded this year in favor of the Serenissima Club. The association in the city has now taken care of the installation of the lights, which are its property. The administration had rejected the Conegliano in Cima project, of collaboration with Jesolo, and to bring the sand cribs to Conegliano.
