The junta is betting on the IT improvement of the regional institutes. Ok also to 2.2 million for the promotion of wine in non-EU markets

UDINE. The council approved, on the proposal of the councilor for education Alessia Rosolen, the “Regional program for digital school in Friuli Venezia Giulia 2021-2023”.

In detail, through this tool the Region aims to achieve the following results: the connection of school buildings to the regional public network and the improvement in terms of available bandwidth and reliability of the connectivity service available to schools; the strengthening of the internal wiring systems of the buildings and the services necessary for their management; the improvement of the availability of a technology park correctly dimensioned in relation to the didactic and administrative needs; the dissemination at regional level of new educational practices for integrated digital teaching and for the development of digital citizenship skills; the increase in the positive and balanced use of digital devices by young people.

Specifically, the Program contains a first package of interventions that have been identified through a selection process starting from the proposals of the working groups and identification of priorities based on the available resources and the feasibility of the projects. Furthermore, over the three-year period 2021-2023, the Program may be further enriched through a periodic update, which will make it consistent with the needs of the regional school system.

There are three areas of action: connectivity and network services; network devices, technological and IT equipment for schools; methodological and didactic innovation. In this context, each specific intervention is described in detail both in relation to the technical and financial contents.

On the other hand, the funds that the Region will make available to local producers to support information and promotion actions for wines in markets outside the European Union amount to 2 million 230 thousand euros in order to improve their competitiveness in these countries.

This was always decided by the council on the proposal of the competent councilor Stefano Zannier who also decided how the projects can be both of a regional nature, i.e. presented by companies based in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and multiregional (companies from our region and other areas of Italy).

In the first case, the deadlines for submitting applications expire on October 29, while in the other the deadline is set for the 25th of the same month. Finally, further interventions in the field of integrated security policies for 2021 and for the local police, for a value of 1 million 105 thousand euros, were approved to complete the 2021 Security Program already definitively dismissed last February.
