Contagions, the weekly data. The curve rises again: + 40%. Twice as many cases in three weeks

The epidemic curve rises and in a week the cases mark a + 40.4% and reach an absolute that was not seen since the second wave, that is, between October and November of last year. At that time, however, many more people ended up in the hospital, as well as more deaths, because there were no vaccines available. The recovery of the curve, however, is worrying and among other things the data would be only minimally the result of the Omicron variant, whose circulation in Italy is growing but which in any case remains responsible for a few hundred cases.
