ROME (ITALPRESS) – There are 19,611 new cases of Coronavirus in Italy (yesterday 23,839) compared to 272,630 swabs carried out out of a total of 49,093,293 since the beginning of the emergency. This is what we read in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health – Higher Institute of Health today. In the last 24 hours there have been 297 deaths (380 yesterday), bringing the total of victims since the beginning of the pandemic to 107,933. With those of today, the total cases of Covid in Italy become 3,532,057. Currently the positives are 573,235 (+1,357), 540,855 people in home isolation. There are 28,701 hospitalized with symptoms of which 3,679 in intensive care. The discharged / healed are 2,850,889 with an increase of 17,950 units in the last 24 hours. The region with the highest number of new cases in the last 24 hours is Lombardy (3,520), followed by Emilia-Romagna (2,137), Campania (2,095), Lazio (1,836) and Puglia (1,788).
