NAPLES – «The bad news is not the persistence of Campania in the red zone but the data from Covid with 500 deaths a day in Italy. Numbers that require us to maintain a position of great rigor and prudence: loosening our grip on problems now would mean having more months of ordeal ». This was stated by the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca.
The governor then added: «If we have the vaccines we need, we are very confident that we will be able to complete the immunization of all Campania by the end of the summer. To achieve this goal we signed the contract for the use of Sputnik, hoping that Aifa will decide to evaluate the new vaccine ».
