Coronavirus, in Fvg 56 new cases and three victims: hospitalizations in intensive and other departments are decreasing

UDINE. On Wednesday 19 May in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 45 new infections were detected on 6,891 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 0.65%.

There are also 2,141 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 11 cases (0.51%) were detected.

Today there are 3 deaths and hospitalizations in intensive care units drop to 13 as well as those in other departments drop to 64.

The deaths totaled 3,773, with the following territorial subdivision: 809 in Trieste, 2,001 in Udine, 672 in Pordenone and 291 in Gorizia.

The totally healed are 91,778, the clinical healed 5,626 and the people in isolation today drop to 5,365.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 106,619 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 21,079 in Trieste, 50,538 in Udine, 20,840 in Pordenone, 12,972 in Gorizia and 1,190 from outside the region.

In the detail of today’s data on Covid-19 in Friuli Venezia Giulia in the sector of residences for the elderly, no cases of positivity were detected among the people housed in the regional structures, while a case was recorded among health workers within the same structures.

On the front of the regional health system there are no cases of positivity among the staff.
