EMILIA ROMAGNA

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 410,893 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 605 more than yesterday, out of a total of 22,514 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 2.6%. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age.
Of the 605 newly infected, 235 are asymptomatic identified. The average age of the new positives today is 34.4 years. Unfortunately, there are six deaths: two in Parma (a 90-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man), a 69-year-old man in the province of Reggio Emilia, two men in the province of Modena (51 and 79 years old) and a woman of 93 years in the province of Bologna.
In total, there have been 13,353 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 48 patients admitted to intensive care (+2 compared to yesterday), 411 those in the other Covid departments (+9).

TUSCANY

In Tuscany there are 528 new cases of Coronavirus positivity, 511 confirmed with molecular swab and 17 by rapid antigenic test, and bring the total to 270,534. The average age of new positives is approximately 36 years: 28% are under 20, 30% between 20 and 39, 26% between 40 and 59, 12% between 60 and 79, the 4% are 80 or older. Unfortunately there are two other deaths: two men, with an average age of 90.5 years, both in the province of Grosseto and bringing the total to 7.005. Hospitalizations are still on the rise: 472 (12 more than yesterday), of which 53 in intensive care (6 more). These are the data disseminated by the Tuscany Region. The healed grew by 0.2% and reached 251,949 (93.1% of total cases). The currently positive are 11,580 today, + 0.8% compared to yesterday. Overall, 11,108 people are in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care, or are symptom-free (82 more than yesterday, plus 0.7%). There are 11,893 (74 less than yesterday, minus 0.6%) people, also isolated, in active surveillance because they have had contact with infected people. Compared to the individual provinces, Florence records 123 more cases than yesterday, Prato 45, Pistoia 64, Massa Carrara 21, Lucca 42, Pisa 70, Livorno 47, Arezzo 61, Siena 28, Grosseto 27.

UMBRIA

One more day with more healed from Covid, 128, new positives, 115, in Umbria where – according to the data on the Region’s website – there were no new deaths from the virus. The current positives are now 1,771, 13 less than on Saturday. On the other hand, hospitalized patients are returning, 58, six more, seven of whom in intensive care (stable data). On the last day, 1,732 swabs and 5,579 antigen tests were analyzed, with a positivity rate of 1.57 percent (stable compared to Saturday while it was 1.87 on the same day last week).

LAZIO

In Lazio, on over 5,000 molecular swabs and over 12,000 antigenic swabs for a total of almost 18,000 tests, 349 new positive cases are recorded today for Covid-19 (minus 98 compared to yesterday), with 127 infections in Rome. In addition, there are 5 deaths (more 3 than yesterday) and 541 recovered. As for the occupation of hospital beds, there are 441 hospitalized patients (minus 16 compared to yesterday), while intensive care is 72 (plus 1 compared to yesterday). This is what emerges from the report of the local health authorities of Lazio made known at the end of the regional task force of the general directors of the ASL, hospitals, university polyclinics and the Bambino Gesu pediatric hospital, which is held in videoconference with the councilor for health of the Lazio Region Alessio D’Amato. “There are 105 fewer cases than on Sunday 22 August. The ratio between positives and swabs is 1.9 percent. The cases in Rome city are at 127”, explains the commissioner D’Amato.

BASILICATA

In Basilicata, 1,174 molecular swabs were processed yesterday for the search for contagion from Covid-19, of which 73 were positive. On the same day, 57 healings were recorded. This was announced by the regional task force. Also yesterday there was no death. Currently, 47 people are hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals, none in intensive care. PUGLIA
