Coronavirus in Italy, today’s June 27 bulletin: 782 new cases and 14 deaths

In the last 24 hours, there have been 782 new coronavirus cases, 14 victims. The positives were calculated against 138,391 tests. The positivity rate goes back to 0.56%.

For a comparison: yesterday there were 838 new cases, 40 deaths, 224,293 swabs, 0.37% the positivity rate.

Patients admitted to intensive care for Covid are now 294, 4 less than yesterday in the daily balance between income and expenses. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 10 (yesterday they were 9). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 1,743, with a decrease of 28 patients compared to yesterday.

The cases in Italy since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,258,069, the deaths 127,472. On the other hand, the discharged and healed are 4,073,435, with an increase of 1,336 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive drop to 57,162, down by 570 in the last 24 hours. There are 55,125 people in home isolation.

The people found positive to an antigen test are 26,208. The healed are 73,523. Covid patients currently hospitalized are 6 in normal and 4 in intensive care

PIEDMONT

There are 31 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19, equal to 0.3% of 9,041 swabs performed, of which 6,238 antigenic. Of the 31 new cases, 23 were asymptomatic (74.2%). The total of positive cases therefore becomes 366,877. There are 15 hospitalized in intensive care (-2 compared to yesterday). There are 872 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 5,386,513 (+ 9,041 compared to yesterday), of which 1,758,612 tested negative. No deaths.

Coronavirus positives in Emilia-Romagna are 61 more than yesterday, out of 12,215 swabs, while there is one death, a 77-year-old from Modena. Hospitalizations are stable, active infections are decreasing. Of the new cases, 29 are asymptomatic. Among the provinces, Modena is in first place today with 19, then Parma with 18. There are 172 more healed cases, 112 fewer active cases for a total of 3,723, of which 94.3% in isolation at home . Patients admitted to intensive care are 28 (+1), 185 those in the other Covid departments (figure unchanged from yesterday).

Out of over 5 thousand swabs (-3.128) and over 13 thousand antigenic for a total of over 18 thousand tests, in Lazio there are 93 new positive cases (+14), one death (-2) and 209 hospitalized (+15). 119 recovered, intensive therapies are 57 (-3). “The ratio between positives and swabs is 1.8%, but if we also consider the antigenic ones the percentage drops to 0.5%. The cases in Rome city are at 62”, explained the regional health councilor. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 15 new cases of Covid positivity in Sardinia were reported, bringing the total number from the beginning of the emergency to 57,207. In total, 1,374,665 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 1,613 tests compared to the previous figure. There are no new deaths (1,490 in all).
