Lazio, today less than a thousand positives, 999 cases and 15 deaths

“Today in Lazio, out of over 16 thousand swabs (+385) and over 23 thousand antigenic for a total of almost 40 thousand tests, there are 999 positive cases (-64), 15 deaths (-2) and +1.354 cured. Cases, deaths and hospitalizations are decreasing, while intensive care is stable. The ratio between positives and buffers is 6%, but if we also consider the antigenic ones the percentage drops to 2%. The cases in Rome city are at 500 ”. in Campania 1,415 new cases, 35 deaths and 1,889 recovered

1,415 new cases of coronavirus emerged yesterday in Campania from the analysis of 22,197 molecular swabs. The percentage of positive swabs out of the total molecular swabs analyzed is equal to 6.37%. Of the 1,415 new positives, 440 are symptomatic or paucisymptomatic. In today’s bulletin released by the Crisis Unit of the Campania Region, 35 new deaths are included, 17 of which occurred in the last 48 hours and 18 occurred previously, but recorded yesterday. The total deaths in Campania since the beginning of the pandemic is 6,626. The new healed are 1,889: the total healed is 310,521. In Campania there are 122 intensive care beds occupied by Covid patients, 1,382 Covid patients hospitalized in hospital wards.

In Basilicata 121 positives and two deaths

In Basilicata (which will be in the yellow zone from Monday 10 May) yesterday 1,488 molecular swabs were analyzed: 121 tested positive for the coronavirus and of these 117 belong to residents in the region. This was announced by the regional task force, specifying that in the last 24 hours, two other deaths were recorded with the total number of Lucanian victims therefore risen to 527. 156 (one less than yesterday) were hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals, of which however only seven (three less than yesterday) in intensive care, four at the San Carlo hospital in Potenza and three at the Madonna delle Grazie in Matera. With 266 new healings (in total 17,954), the number of currently positive Lucanians dropped from 5,971 to 5,820 (5,664 in home isolation). Since the beginning of the epidemic in Basilicata, 333,539 molecular swabs have been analyzed, 306,051 of which were negative and 193,061 people were tested.

In Piedmont 719 positive, rate drops to 2.7%

In Piedmont there are 719 cases of positivity to Covid reported in today’s bulletin of the Crisis Unit of the Region, with a rate of 2.7% compared to the 26,236 diagnostic swabs processed of which 17,760 antigenic: the share of asymptomatic is 44.1 %. There are 166 patients admitted to intensive care (+ 4 compared to yesterday), 1,726 in the other wards, down by 38. The dead are 7, the healed +971, the people in home isolation 11,711, the currently positive 13,603.

In Tuscany 676 new cases and 21 deaths, hospitalizations always decreasing

In Tuscany there are 676 new infected by Covid (652 confirmed with molecular swab and 24 by rapid antigen test), which bring the total number to 232,536 since the beginning of the coronavirus emergency. New cases are 0.3% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.5% and reached 208,320 (89.6% of total cases). Today, 13,829 molecular swabs and 13,395 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 2.5% were positive. On the other hand, 9,236 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 7.3% were positive. The current positives are today 17,843, -1.7% compared to yesterday. There are 1,322 hospitalized (44 fewer than yesterday), of which 214 in intensive care (6 fewer). Today there are 21 new deaths: 15 men and 6 women with an average age of 76 years. These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of requests from the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. The average age of the 676 new positives today is approximately 40 years (23% are under 20, 25% between 20 and 39, 33% between 40 and 59, 15% between 60 and 79, 4% have 80 years or older).
