Puglia, AZ effect: only 30% confirmations per vaccine among 70-year-olds

The adhesions to the anti Coronavirus vaccination campaign in Puglia in the age group between 70 and 79 years old are struggling to take off. According to what is learned from regional sources, at the moment about 30% of those entitled have confirmed the appointment already set by the ASL, but the agendas are still open. It is not excluded that the temporary lack of support may be linked to the AstraZeneca affair and to a decline in public confidence. The administration will begin on Monday, the first will be the 79 and 78 year olds, we will proceed according to the date of birth. The Region plans to vaccinate everyone with the first dose by April 30, and then start with the population in the 69-60 age group.
