Sicily second for infections: 424 new cases and 13 deaths
There are 424 new cases of Covid 19 registered today in Sicily out of 13,539 swabs processed. On the island there were also 13 deaths while 712 patients discharged or healed in the last 24 hours. The island is the second region for infections after Lombardy. In total, there are 17,267 positives – 301 fewer than yesterday – and of these 531 are hospitalized in the ordinary regime, 77 in intensive care (with only one new admission) and 16,659 are in home isolation.
In Lombardy 478 new cases and 8 deaths
There are 478 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Lombardy since yesterday and 8 deaths. The swabs carried out in the last 24 hours are 66,355 and the rate of positivity is expected to be 0.72%. There is a slight decrease in the number of patients in hospital, which are 459 (yesterday they were 474). In particular, there are 401 patients in ordinary Covod wards (yesterday they were 414) and those in intensive care are 58 (yesterday they were 60). The province with the most infections is Milan with 146 cases, followed by Varese with 74 and Brescia with 73.
In Lazio today 306 new cases and 2 deaths
Rome, 25 Sept. (beraking latest news Salute) – «Today in Lazio, out of 8,603 molecular swabs and 16,236 antigenic swabs for a total of 24,839 swabs, there are 306 new positive cases (-55), down compared to Saturday 18 September (-70). There are 2 deaths (-4), 396 hospitalized (+1), 55 people in intensive care (+4) and 378 recovered. The ratio of positives to buffers is 1.2%. The cases in Rome city are at an altitude of 150 ». This was highlighted by the councilor for Health and Social and Health Integration of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato, after the videoconference of the regional task force for Covid-19 with the general directors of the ASL and hospitals, university polyclinics and the pediatric hospital for Child Jesus.
In Calabria 133 new infections, +266 healed and 3 deaths
According to the Covid-19 emergency bulletin released by the Health Protection Department of the Calabria Region, 133 new infections are registered (out of 4,050 swabs carried out), +266 recovered and 3 deaths (for a total of 1,392 deaths). The bulletin also records -136 currently positive, -137 in isolation, +2 hospitalized and, finally, -1 intensive care (for a total of 12).
In Trentino 17 new infections: open resuscitation
In Trentino today zero deaths and 17 new infections. No hospitalization: therefore 22 patients remain in hospital, 3 of whom are in intensive care. On the vaccination campaign front, the total administrations are 733,652 vaccines, of which 339,512 second doses.
