In Italy, another 2,985 cases and 65 coronavirus victims were recorded on 28 September. In the last 24 hours, about 338 thousand swabs were carried out. There are 459 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy, down by 29 compared to yesterday in the balance between entries and exits. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, are 19 (they were 29 on 27 September). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 3,418 (yesterday 3,487), or 69 less than the previous day.
Veneto, 376 other cases and 10 victims
The number of new Covid infections in Veneto dates back to yesterday, 376 (there were 181 on Monday), but above all deaths have increased, with 10 victims. The bulletin of the Region reports it. The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic has risen to 468,500, that of the dead to 11,770. The current positives are 11,049 (-296). Positive data comes from hospital admissions: 243 Covid patients (-10) are hospitalized in the non-critical area, 52 (-3) in intensive care.

South Tyrol, 92 positive cases and zero deaths
In the last 24 hours, the laboratories of the Alto Adige Health Authority have ascertained other 92 cases of positivity to Covid-19: 44 were detected on the basis of 1,273 PCR swabs (of which 387 new tests) and 48 on the basis of 7,838 antigen tests. There are no reports of deaths that are in total 1,192 since the beginning of the health emergency, while the number of Covid-19 patients assisted in normal hospital wards has increased by one unit, which are now 25. There are always 9, however, patients assisted in intensive care and 3 those in isolation in the Colle Isarco and Sarnes structures. There are 1,837 people in quarantine or home isolation, while those declared in the last 24 hours are 97, for a total of 76,669 since the beginning of the emergency.
Basilicata, 32 positives and one victim
A new death from Covid-19 in Basilicata. This is an unvaccinated patient who was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the San Carlo hospital, reports the regional task force. Meanwhile, yesterday, 795 molecular swabs were processed to search for contagion from Covid-19. Of these, 32 – and among these 31 relating to residents in Basilicata – were positive. On the same day there were 35 healings, of which 32 related to residents in Basilicata.
