In Abruzzo 323 new positives and 7 deaths
In Abruzzo today there are 323 new positives, of these 113 in the province of Teramo, 87 in the Aquila, 87 in the province of Chieti and 27 in the Pescarese, including 9 residents outside the region or with residency that has yet to be ascertained. The dead are seven. One death, however, dates back to recent days and was communicated only today by the local health authorities. The overall balance indicates 45,347 recovered (+112), 12,840 positive (+204), 673 hospitalized in the medical area (+24), 93 hospitalized in intensive care ( -1), 12,074 in home isolation (+181). Today, 4,393 molecular swabs and 4,487 antigen tests have been performed.
Tuscany: 1,305 new cases and 19 deaths, hospitalizations on the rise
With 1,305 new Coronavirus test positives recorded in the last twenty-four hours, slightly less than the day before, the Tuscans currently affected by the virus rise to 24,265. Since the beginning of the health emergency, more than a year ago, 172,982 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the region. In 143,776, however, they recovered (83.1 percent, 750 only in the last day, plus 0.5 percent) and healed in all respects: not only without symptoms but also from a viral point of view, certified from negative buffer. Out of over 24 thousand confirmed patients, 1,599 are hospitalized and 236 of these in intensive care. The others, 22,666, are isolated at home because they have mild symptoms or are even symptom-free. Nineteen deaths. The numbers are those of the daily bulletin on the progress of the epidemic in Tuscany, ascertained at noon on the basis of the requests of the Civil Protection.
In Campania another 2,449 positives, rate at 10.9%
There are 2,449 (of which 323 cases identified by rapid antigenic tests) the cases of positivity to Covid 19 ascertained in Campania in the last 24 hours. Of the 2,449 new patients, 1,508 are asymptomatic while 618 are symptomatic (symptomatic and symptomatic, however, refer only to molecular swab positives). The swabs performed on the last day were a total of 22,326 (3,727 antigenic). The contagion rate is 10.96% compared to yesterday’s 10.78. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total of positives is 303,622 compared to 3,251,075 (of which 163,013 antigenic) ‘processed’. There are 29 deceased (in the last 48 hours of which 3 died previously but registered yesterday) while 1,557 people declared recovered. There are 656 intensive care beds available while those occupied are 161, up from 150 yesterday. There are 3,160 hospital beds available (Covid beds and private offer); those employed are 1529, down from the previous 1,547.
Nine deaths and 1,542 positive, 17% of the tests carried out in Puglia
Out of 8,951 tests for Covid-19 infection, 9 deaths were recorded today in Puglia (compared to 23 yesterday) and 1,542 positive cases equal to 17.23% of the tests (16.5% yesterday). The new infected are distributed as follows: 687 in the province of Bari, 127 in the province of Brindisi, 94 in the BAT province, 238 in the province of Foggia, 173 in the province of Lecce, 215 in the province of Taranto, 3 cases of residents outside the region, 5 cases of unknown province of residence. The 9 deaths occurred: 4 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 1 in the province of BAT, 1 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Taranto. Since the beginning of the emergency 1,691,681 tests have been carried out. 122,147 are the patients recovered. 39,142 are currently positive cases
