Coronavirus, the bulletin of Monday 22 November: 298 new cases, eight deaths. The number of hospitalized is growing

PORDENONE. Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 279 new infections have been detected on 2,871 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 9.71%. There are also 5,884 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 19 cases (0.32%) were detected.

Today the deaths of 8 people are recorded: specifically, it is a 90-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital, an 89-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital, an 88-year-old woman from Trieste who died in hospital, a 63-year-old man from San Dorligo della Valle who died in hospital, an 89-year-old woman from Cormons who died in hospital, an 89-year-old woman from San Daniele del Friuli who died in hospital, an 84-year-old woman from Porcia who died in hospital and finally an 82-year-old man from Caneva who died in hospital. There are 26 people admitted to intensive care, while patients in other departments are 223.

This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi. The deaths totaled 3,938, with the following territorial subdivision: 889 in Trieste, 2,039 in Udine, 698 in Pordenone and 312 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 116,289, the clinically healed 123, while those in isolation are 5,883.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 126,482 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 29,128 in Trieste, 55,552 in Udine, 24,521 in Pordenone, 15,537 in Gorizia and 1,744 from outside the region.
