SALERNO – Two more died today in the Salerno area due to the Coronavirus. A 71-year-old woman, originally from Sassano, died in the Covid ward of the Polla hospital. It is the fifth death in Sassano among the people who contracted the virus. The number of people who have lost their lives in Vallo di Diano since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 56.
This evening the announcement of the second death. It is a man from Baronissi who, as stated in the note issued by the Municipality, «was admitted to the Fucito Hospital in Mercato San Severino. Mr. Aversa lived in Orignano. The deepest condolences to the family by the mayor Gianfranco Valiante, the municipal administration and the city of Baronissi ».
