TREVISO. The former captain of the Guardia di Finanza was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months Giovanni Grassi, as part of a corruption trial in which ten other people were charged for various reasons. Among these the president of Confindustria Alto Adriatico, Michelangelo Agrusti68 years old from Casarsa della Delizia, that was acquitted from all the accusations from the college chaired by Umberto Donà.

The investigation, which started from the control of a car by traffic police officers, at the Vicenza Est tollbooth in November 2014, had uncovered a round of illicit favors between the 61-year-old officer Treviso – in the meantime suspended by the Fiamme Gialle and moved to Sardinia – and some entrepreneurs, to whom the military would have provided confidential information, obtained from the tax registry, in exchange for money and favors.

The “blown” were paid with a proven system: forcing a coachbuilder to issue a dozen fake invoices for a total of 20 thousand euros to the beneficiaries of the searches, which were then turned over in black in Grassi.
