The investigation, which started from the control of a car by traffic police officers, at the Vicenza Est tollbooth in November 2014, had uncovered a round of illicit favors between the 61-year-old officer Treviso – in the meantime suspended by the Fiamme Gialle and moved to Sardinia – and some entrepreneurs, to whom the military would have provided confidential information, obtained from the tax registry, in exchange for money and favors.
