It remains high on the curve of infections from Covid in Sardinia, where in the last 24 hours there has also been a jump in deaths, in all eight. New confirmed cases 3,501 (- 283), of which 3,068 diagnosed as antigenic. A total of 8,610 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, for a positivity rate ranging from 30 to 40.6 percent. The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 10 (- 1), those in the medical area 143 (- 7). New record for home isolation cases, in total 32,125 (+ 1,130). In detail the 8 deaths: a 79-year-old man residing in the province of Oristano; three women of 88, 89 and 97 and a man of 69 resident in the province of South Sardinia; two women aged 75 and 81 and a man aged 65 resident in the province of Nuoro.
In Emilia-Romagna over 9 thousand cases, intensive hospitalizations are growing
Infections in Emilia-Romagna are rising very rapidly: in fact, in the last 24 hours, over 9 thousand positives have been identified. The hospitalizations rise and there are still ten deaths, including a 65-year-old woman in the Modena area. On the basis of almost 24 thousand swabs, in fact, 9,016 positives were identified: the number of active cases therefore rises to over 67 thousand. Even if 98.2% of the positives are in home isolation because they do not need special care, the number of hospitalizations in intensive care is increasing: they are 34, six more than yesterday, while in the other Covid departments the positives are 1,140, ​​-12 .
In Tuscany 5,560 new positives, average age 49 years, 4 deaths
In Tuscany there are 5,560 new Covid cases (1,017 confirmed with molecular swab and 4,543 by rapid antigen test) registered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,239,815 since the beginning of the coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.5% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.2% and reached 1,160,567 (93.6% of total cases). Today 2,217 molecular swabs and 18,635 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 26.7% were positive. On the other hand, 6,804 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 81.7% tested positive. The currently positive are 69,037 today, + 4.2% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 608 (3 less than yesterday), of which 26 in intensive care (3 more). Today there are 4 new deaths: 3 men and one woman with an average age of 81.5 years. These are the data – ascertained at 12 today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. The average age of today’s 5,560 new positives is approximately 49 years (10% are under 20, 22% between 20 and 39, 33% between 40 and 59, 27% between 60 and 79, 8% have 80 years or older).
One death in Trentino, the hospitalized rise to 69
There is a new death from Covid-19 in Trentino: it is an over eighty-year-old vaccinated with previous pathologies, we read in today’s Bulletin of the Provincial Health Services Agency. The new cases are 744: 9 positives detected on the molecular (out of 218 tests carried out) and 735 on the antigenic (out of 2,420 tests carried out). The molecular then confirm 5 positivity intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. The hospitalized patients rise to 69 (+4) of which none in resuscitation (-1). Yesterday 15 new hospitalizations and 11 discharges were recorded. The active cases are 314 more, for a total of 5,214. The healed are 433 more and their number has risen to 171,271 since the beginning of the pandemic. The vaccines administered are 1,227,616, of which 428,463 second doses and 348,439 third doses.
Piedmont, no deaths and almost 5,200 new positives
There are 5,190 of which 5,031 in antigen tests, the new positives at Covid in Piedmont. The Region notes it. The swabs carried out are 22,647 of which 271,353 antigen tests, the positive swabs ratio is 22.9%. Ordinary hospitalizations are 462 (+ 15 compared to yesterday), those in intensive care 8, unchanged compared to yesterday. No deaths have been reported of patients diagnosed with Covid.
