Covid, in Forte dei Marmi stop at the beach parties

by admin

From next Sunday, August 1st, in the bathing establishments of Forte dei Marmi (Lucca) it will be possible to organize “dinners only, with people seated and spaced apart according to the anti-contagion regulations”, while “events of different nature”, or parties not regulated.

This is what is foreseen by a new ordinance prepared and signed by the mayor Bruno Murzi which “intends to avoid the continuation of potentially non-compliant events in a health emergency situation”. The mayor explains: “Following the increase in positive cases registered in the area and some events, promptly sanctioned, which were organized in the past few days, without respecting the hygiene and sanitary standards and, moreover, with structures installed different from those communicated , I found it necessary to stop having beach parties. I understand – adds the mayor – that this is a decision that can go against those who had planned events in full compliance with the virus containment rules, but given what has happened in recent days and having taken note of the current epidemiological situation, I believe it is essential to act immediately, in the interest of the whole community. Therefore, I renew the invitation to all operators to be responsible for compliance with anti Covid regulations. The control of the municipal police will continue strictly “
