Covid, in Fvg 84 new infections and no deaths

UDINE. In Friuli Venezia Giulia there are 84 new cases of positivity to Covid reported in the bulletin of Friday 24 September. There were no deaths.

Out of 4,031 molecular swabs carried out, in particular, 79 new infections were detected (including 4 asylum seekers / migrants), with a positive percentage of 1.96%. 4,609 rapid antigenic tests were also processed, from which another 5 cases emerged (0.11%).

People admitted to intensive care in the region drop to 10, while patients in other departments remain 46.

The data was communicated by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The deaths since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to 3,817 overall, with the following territorial subdivision: 822 in Trieste, 2,022 in Udine, 679 in Pordenone and 294 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 108,296, the clinically healed 97, while those in isolation drop to 1,103. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 113,369 people have been positive (the total was reduced by one unit following a revised positive test) with the following territorial subdivision: 22,989 in Trieste, 52,407 in Udine, 22,772 in Pordenone, 13,618 in Gorizia and 1,583 from outside the region.

As far as the regional health system is concerned, the positivity of a nurse and a socio-health worker from the Giuliano Isontina university health agency was detected. With regard to facilities for the elderly, there is the contagion of an operator in Trieste.
