Cases of Covid-19 among healthcare workers are growing: this week they are 371 compared to 306 the previous week (3.6% of the total cases in the population). This was revealed by the extended surveillance report published by the Higher Institute of Health, which completes the weekly monitoring. In total, there are 144,812 total coronavirus cases registered among healthcare workers, of which 1,444 in the last 30 days.

Analyzing the trend of cases diagnosed among health workers, we read in the Report “at the beginning of July there was a slight increase in correspondence with the increase in the number of cases in the remaining population. Starting from the second half of August, the number of cases diagnosed in the population is in sharp decline, while the number of cases notified weekly among health workers is increasing (371 compared to 306 in the previous week) and is now equal to 3.6% of the total cases in the population “.

Meanwhile, 39 students are positive for Covid in Umbria and 25 classes in isolation according to the data of the Region referring to Friday 22 October. This is three more pupils compared to 19 October, the date of the previous survey, when the classes in isolation were 13. As of 22 October, eight people among the school staff are positive (there were 11), there are six clusters and close contacts of classes in isolation 545.
