In the last 24 hours, 39,963 new infections have been recorded in Italy. Yesterday there were 38,095. The victims are 173 instead (yesterday there were 210). 12,990,223 Italians have been infected by Covid since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Currently positives are 1,018,831, down 4,956 in the last 24 hours, while total deaths rise to 155,782. The discharged and healed are 11,815,610, with an increase of 46,147 compared to yesterday.
VALLE D’AOSTA
There are 59 new cases of positivity to Covid-19 in the Aosta Valley in the last 24 hours. Together with 38 people who were recovered after the isolation swab, the cases returned to rise slightly and touched 1,296. There have been no new deaths: 522 remain dead since the beginning of the pandemic. Of the positives, 1,280 are in home isolation. There are 16 admissions in all, one less than the previous day. Of these, 14 are in ordinary wards (one less) and two in intensive care (stable).
TRENTINO
There have been 247 new infections in Trentino in the last 24 hours, of which seven cases tested positive for molecular swab (out of 216 tests carried out) and 240 for antigenic (out of 3,137 tests carried out). This is what emerges from the bulletin of the provincial company for health services on the spread of Coronavirus in the province of Trento, which does not report new deaths. There are 2,974 active cases in the provincial territory. 52 people are hospitalized in hospitals, including three in intensive care. Five resignations were registered yesterday.
Vaccinations reached 1,189,939, of which 424,634 second doses and 315,812 third doses. Yesterday there were four classes with suspension of face-to-face teaching.
SOUTH TYROL
In South Tyrol for a week there have been no deaths attributable to Covid-19 for an overall figure that remains 1,413 victims since the beginning of the pandemic. Yesterday 485 new cases of coronavirus emerged out of 4,811 swabs processed. The decrease in covid patients admitted to hospital continues, 62 in normal wards and one in intensive care. Out of 294,958 people subjected to molecular swab, 191,622 tested positive. The total healed are 185,814.
PIEDMONT
There are 1,719 new cases of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Piedmont, or 5.4% of the 32,029 swabs performed. The Regional Crisis Unit also recorded four deaths, none of which related to today, and 2,086 recovered. Hospitalizations are still decreasing: patients in intensive care are 34 (-2), in ordinary wards 695 (-42). Since the beginning of the pandemic, therefore, Piedmont has recorded 991,304 positives, 13,079 positives and 935,725 healed.
VENETO
Veneto falls below 50 thousand for current Covid-19 patients, with 49,628 positives, 706 fewer than yesterday. The descent of the contagion curve continues, today 3,866, with the total at 1,349,041. There are 14 deaths, with 13,893 deaths overall. The decline in clinical indicators continues: in non-critical wards the threshold of 900 patients is falling, with 898 hospitalizations (-28), and 83 (-4) in intensive care.
The vaccination campaign marks 7,280 administrations yesterday, mostly (5,773) third doses / boosters. The over 12 population who took two doses was 88.3%, while the third was 71.1%. In the pediatric range, the first dose covers 32.7%, the second 29.5%.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia, 258 new infections were detected on 4,858 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 5.31%. In addition, 6,183 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 461 cases (7.46%) were detected. There are 12 people hospitalized in intensive care, while patients hospitalized in other departments drop to 150. This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi. Only one death, an 86-year-old man from San Vito al Tagliamento: the total victims since the beginning of the pandemic are 4,803.

EMILIA ROMAGNA
There are just over two thousand (2,056) new cases of Coronavirus positivity identified in Emilia-Romagna in the last 24 hours, with about 11 thousand registered swabs.
There are 29,295 active cases, with 95.7% of them in isolation at home. There are 68 patients in intensive care, two more than yesterday, while in the other Covid wards there are 1,167 patients
(-26). The victims, all over 70, are three in Parma, four in Reggio Emilia, two in Modena, one in Bologna, two in Ferrara and two in Ravenna.
TUSCANY
In Tuscany there are 869,684 cases of Coronavirus positivity, 2,699 more than yesterday (906 confirmed with molecular swab and 1,793 by rapid antigen test). New cases are 0.3% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.4% and reached 836,153 (96.1% of total cases). Today 6,525 molecular swabs and 16,690 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 11.6% were positive. On the other hand, 5,402 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 50% were positive. The currently positive are 24,412 today, -3.1% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 762 (21 fewer than yesterday), of which 48 in intensive care (1 more). There are 22 new deaths: 10 men and 12 women with an average age of 83.5 years.
UMBRIA
One more day with more new Covid cases in Umbria, 987, than healed, 821. With the curve of the currently positive ones that has started to grow again for a few days. On Saturday 5 March there were 9,766, more than 1.7 percent compared to Friday equal to 163 units. The website of the Region reports it.
1,782 swabs and 6,022 antigen tests were analyzed, with a positive rate of the total equal to 12.6 percent (it was 13.4 on Friday but 9.54 on Saturday last week). Three new deaths were also recorded on the last day. On the other hand, the number of hospitalized patients declined, 141, six fewer, while the places occupied in intensive care remained stable, five.
LAZIO
Today in Lazio out of 9,264 molecular swabs and 29,497 antigenic swabs for a total of 38,761 swabs, there are 3,934 new positive cases (+232), 5 deaths (-15), 1,126 hospitalized (-43), 92 intensive care (+1) and +6,843 the healed. The ratio of positives to swabs is 10.1%. The cases in Rome city are at 1,876. This was announced by the councilor for health Alessio D’Amato.
WALK
In the last 24 hours 1,533 cases of Covid-19 have been identified in the Marche (248 symptomatic), with 3,497 swabs processed in the diagnostic path and a positivity rate of 43.8% (yesterday it was 41.6% with 1,502 cases) ; the cumulative incidence per 100 thousand inhabitants started to rise again after 3 days in descent, passing from 584.38 to 602.03. A total of 191 (-1) patients are assisted in the Marche hospitals and 10 (-3) in the emergency rooms waiting to be transferred to the wards. In intensive care there are 19 patients (like yesterday) and the occupancy rate of the beds is 7.4%; 41 (-2) patients in semi-intensive areas and 131 (+1) hospitalized in non-intensive wards, with 16.8% occupancy of beds in the medical area. In the last 24 hours, only one victim related to Covid-19 has been recorded: an 86-year-old woman, also suffering from other diseases. The toll since the start of the pandemic crisis is now 3,613 dead. This can be learned from the daily bulletin of the regional health service.
ABRUZZO
Today in Abruzzo there are 9 deaths due to Covid 19. The death toll from the beginning of the health emergency rises to 2,995. Since yesterday, there have been 1,006 new Covid 19 positives in the region (aged between 2 months and 97 years), of which 648 emerged from antigen tests. 2,906 molecular swabs and 7,898 antigen tests were performed. In the entire course of the pandemic, 201,458 people have been healed, 439 more since yesterday. The currently positive ones are 64,603, 558 more from yesterday. There are 300 hospitalized in the medical area (12 fewer from yesterday) and 14 (one more from yesterday) positive patients undergoing treatment in the intensive care units of Abruzzo hospitals. 64,289 people are in home isolation (569 more than yesterday).
MOLISE
CAMPANIA
There are 3,866 in Campania the neo-positives to Covid out of 29,849 tests examined. The contagion index remains stable which today is equal to 12.95% while yesterday it was 13.07%. Six deaths in the last 48 hours; two died previously but registered yesterday. In hospitals, the situation in intensive care is improving with 34 beds occupied (-3 compared to yesterday); the number of hospitalizations remained stable with 648 beds occupied.
BASILICATA
548 positives emerged in Basilicata yesterday, after the examination of 2,883 swabs (molecular and antigenic): this was announced by the regional task force on the pandemic, adding that three deaths and another 486 recoveries were also recorded. 91 people are hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals (four less than yesterday), of which only one (at San Carlo di Potenza) is treated in intensive care. As for vaccinations (yesterday 752 were carried out), “467,338 Lucanians who received the first dose (84.5%), 438,117 those who also received the second dose (79.2%) and 340,933 (61 , 6%) those who received the third “.

The Covid intensive therapies in Puglia are emptied: in the last 10 days there has been a shift from 11% bed occupancy to the current 6%, also below the national average which stands at 7%. There are 1,946 new cases of Covid in Calabria where there are also ten deaths. Compared to yesterday, the ratio of swabs made to positive swabs rises (from 17.39% to 18.78%). Since the beginning of the emergency there have been 2,127 deaths and 176,224 healed (+1,408 compared to yesterday). There are 268 hospitalizations in the medical area (-8 compared to yesterday) and those in intensive care 17 (-1 compared to yesterday).

In Sardinia in the last 24 hours there have been 1,301 confirmed cases of Covid positivity – of which 1,094 diagnosed as antigenic – about a hundred more than in the previous survey. A total of 9,673 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, for a positivity rate of 13.4%.
