Covid, Musumeci closes schools in 20 Sicilian municipalities from 22 to 27 March

Governor’s ruling following the Asoe Regional Department weekly report

PALERMO – The president of the Sicilian Region, Nello Musumeci, in application of article 43 of the Dpcm 2 March 2021, and following the weekly report of the Asoe Regional Department, has just ordered the closure of educational institutions in 20 municipalities in Sicily.

Here is the list of municipalities affected by the measure: San Mauro Castelverde, Caltavuturo, Ventimiglia di Sicilia, MezzoJuso, Torretta, Altavilla Milicia, Trabia, Terrasini for the province of Palermo; Caltanissetta, Montedoro, Serradifalco, for the territory of Nisse; Regalbuto and Sperlinga in Ennese; Calamonaci, Villafranca Sicula, Sant’Angelo Muxaro in the province of Agrigento; Santa Maria di Licodia, Biancavilla and Licodia Eubea in Catania; Melilli, in the province of Syracuse.

The provision will be in effect from 22 to 27 March.
