(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 12 OCT – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, out of 4,233 molecular swabs, 56 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 1.32%. There are also 7,190 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 5 cases (0.07%) were detected. Today the death of a 78-year-old girl from Tolmezzo occurred in her home; 9 people remain hospitalized in intensive care and 47 patients in other departments.
This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
The deaths totaled 3,829, with the following territorial subdivision: 831 in Trieste, 2,025 in Udine, 679 in Pordenone and 294 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 109,731, the clinically healed 49 and 800 in isolation.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 114,465 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 23,478 in Trieste, 52,691 in Udine, 22,983 in Pordenone, 13,718 in Gorizia and 1,595 from outside the region.
As regards the regional health system, a pharmacist from the Burlo of Trieste and a nurse from Asufc were found to be positive, while no infections were recorded among the operators of residential facilities for the elderly or their guests. (HANDLE).
