(ANSA) – LONDON, JUL 28 – Slight rebound of Covid infections fueled by the Delta variant in the United Kingdom, where 27,734 new cases have been identified in the last 24 hours, about 4,000 more than yesterday. The weekly curve, however, remains decreasing, while the daily deaths decrease to 91 (about forty less than yesterday) and the total hospital admissions are confirmed more or less stable around 6000. At the same time, the vaccines administered rise to over 84 million doses, with the first injection inoculated by now to 88.3% of the adult population over 18 residing on the island and the complete cycle (first dose plus booster) guaranteed at 71.1%.
