Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 30 new infections have been detected on 1,298 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 2.31%. There are also 1,914 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 215 cases (11.23%) were detected. There are 8 people admitted to intensive care, while 142 patients hospitalized in other wards.
This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
As regards the trend of the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected group is the 40-49 year old (16.33%), followed by the 50-59 (15.51%) and the 30-39 (14 , 69%).
Today the deaths of 6 people are recorded: a 96-year-old woman from Azzano Decimo (who died in RSA), an 88-year-old man from Paularo (who died in hospital), an 88-year-old woman from Monfalcone (who died in hospital) , an 86-year-old man from Roveredo in Piano (who died in hospital), an 84-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital) and a 75-year-old woman from Azzano Decimo (who died in hospital).
The total number of deaths amounts to 4,836, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,183 in Trieste, 2,302 in Udine, 922 in Pordenone and 429 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 293,815, the clinically healed 200, while the people in isolation drop to 17,527.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 316,528 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 68,782 in Trieste, 131,023 in Udine, 76,493 in Pordenone, 35,571 in Gorizia and 4,659 from outside the region.
With regard to the regional health system, the following positives were found: in the Giuliano Isontina university health agency 1 administrative, 1 nurse, 1 doctor and 1 technician; 3 nurses, 1 doctor and 1 socio-health worker in the Friuli Centrale university health authority; 1 socio-health worker in the Western Friuli health authority.
With regard to residences for the elderly in Friuli Venezia Giulia, the infection of 1 operator and 1 guest is recorded.
