Covid, the bulletin of Monday 30 August: 38 new cases, two deaths registered in Fvg. ICU admissions are on the rise

UDINE. Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 1,167 molecular swabs, 33 new infections have been detected (including 3 migrants / asylum seekers in the province of Udine) with a positive percentage of 2.83%. There are also 320 rapid antigenic tests performed from which 5 cases (1.56%) were detected. Today there are 2 deaths: a 93-year-old woman with previous pathologies admitted to the Pordenone hospital and an 88-year-old man to the Udine hospital. There are 13 people admitted to intensive care, while 49 are hospitalized in other wards.

This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health.

The overall deaths amounted to 3,801, with the following territorial subdivision: 814 in Trieste, 2,018 in Udine, 676 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 105,649, the clinically healed 88 while the people in isolation drop to 1,099.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 110,699 infections have been recorded with the following territorial subdivision: 22,014 in Trieste, 51,557 in Udine, 22,228 in Pordenone, 13,371 in Gorizia and 1,529 from outside the region.

No infections were detected among the staff of the regional health system and not even among the guests and the staff of residential facilities for the elderly.
