Covid, the bulletin of Sunday 29 August: 80 new cases registered in Fvg, intensive care stable

UDINE. Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 2,041 molecular swabs, 69 new infections have been detected (including a migrant / asylum seeker in the province of Trieste) with a positive percentage of 3.38%. There are also 3,297 rapid antigenic tests performed from which 11 cases (0.33%) were detected. Total cases are 80. Today there are no deaths, 11 people remain hospitalized in intensive care while 46 are hospitalized in other departments.

This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health. In the last 24 hours, in particular, in the intensive care unit there has been a discharge and hospitalization of a 59-year-old person who had completed the vaccination course for two weeks. In the medical area, on the other hand, in the face of two discharges, 8 patients were hospitalized, including only one with a complete vaccination cycle.

The deaths totaled 3,799, with the following territorial subdivision: 814 in Trieste, 2,017 in Udine, 675 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 105,608, the clinically healed 86 while the people in isolation amount to 1,111.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 110,661 infections have been recorded with the following territorial subdivision: 21,988 in Trieste, 51,550 in Udine,

22,224 in Pordenone, 13,371 in Gorizia and 1,528 from outside the region.

As regards the regional health system, the positive results of a technician from the Giuliano Isontina university health authority and a health care worker from the Friuli Centrale health authority were found.
