Covid, the bulletin of Wednesday 1 December: 746 new infections and seven deaths

UDINE. On Wednesday 1 December in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 9,276 molecular swabs, 663 new infections were detected with a positive percentage of 7.15%.

There are also 14,493 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 83 cases (0.57%) were detected. Today the deaths of 7 people are recorded: a 94-year-old woman from Fiume Veneto who died in hospital, a 92-year-old woman from Sgonico who died in an RSA, a 91-year-old woman from San Daniele del Friuli who died in an RSA, an 89-year-old man from Pordenone who died in hospital, an 89-year-old man from Sacile who died in hospital, an 82-year-old man from Vivaro who died in hospital and, finally, a 77-year-old woman from Torviscosa who died in hospital.

There are 24 people admitted to intensive care, while patients in other departments drop to 289.

The deaths totaled 3,990, with the following territorial subdivision: 917 in Trieste, 2,046 in Udine, 709 in Pordenone and 318 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 120,303, the clinically healed 199, while the people in isolation are 6,969.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 131,774 people have been positive (the total was reduced by 9 units following the revision of the same number of rapid tests) with the following territorial division: 30,971 in Trieste, 57,158 in Udine, 25,495 in Pordenone , 16,332 in Gorizia and 1,818 from outside the region.

As regards the regional health system, the positivity of an administrator, a nurse and two socio-health workers from the Friuli Centrale university health authority was found; an administrative, three nurses, a social health worker and two technicians from the Giuliano Isontina University Healthcare Company; a social worker, three socio-health workers and a technician from the Western Friuli health authority; a health and social worker of the maternal and child Irccs Burlo Garofolo.

Finally, 3 cases were detected among the guests of the residences for the elderly in the region (Trieste and Montereale Valcellina) and 6 cases among the operators (Udine, Trieste, Monfalcone and Muggia).
