UDINE. In Friuli Venezia Giulia 426 new infections were detected on 4,854 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 8.78%. Furthermore, 5098 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 578 cases (11.34%) were detected. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to 5, while there are 136 patients hospitalized in other departments.
This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
As regards the trend of the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected groups are the 50-59 years (17.73%) and the 40-49 years (16.14%); following the 30-39 years (13.75%).
Today there is the death of a 98-year-old man from Marano Lagunare (who died in hospital), a 76-year-old man from Brugnera (who died in hospital) and, finally, a 72-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital) .
The total number of deaths amounts to 4,919, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,212 in Trieste, 2,330 in Udine, 935 in Pordenone and 442 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 305,772, the clinically healed 196, while the people in isolation are 23,216.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 334,244 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 72,782 in Trieste, 138,535 in Udine, 80,532 in Pordenone, 37,361 in Gorizia and 5,034 from outside the region. The total of positive cases was reduced by 6 units following a negative molecular swab after positive antigen test and following 5 positive tests removed after case review.
With regard to the regional health system, the following positives were found: in the Giuliano Isontina university health authority of 1 administrative, 1 auxiliary, 10 nurses, 1 doctor, 3 social health workers,
1 midwife; in the Friuli Centrale University Healthcare Company of 2 veterinary managers, 8 nurses, 4 doctors, 5 social health workers, 3 technicians and 3 rehabilitation therapists; 1 social worker, 1 nurse, 1 doctor, 2 socio-health workers, 1 technician in the Western Friuli health authority; at the maternal and child Irccs Burlo Garofolo with 2 doctors; at the Irccs Cro in Aviano of a social health worker and a nurse; to the Regional Healthcare Coordination Company of an administrative.
With regard to residences for the elderly in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 19 guests and 7 operators were infected.
