UDINE. On Tuesday 30 November in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 345 new infections were detected on 6,335 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 5.45%. In addition, 24,755 rapid antigenic tests were carried out, from which 112 cases (0.45%) were detected for an aggregate total of 457 cases.

During the day the deaths of 9 people were recorded: specifically, it is a 95-year-old woman from Ronchi dei Legionari who died in a residence for the elderly; a 93-year-old woman from Trieste who died at her home; a 92-year-old man from Cervignano del Friuli who died in hospital; of an 88-year-old man from Trieste who died in a facility for the elderly; of an 80-year-old man from Pordenone who died in hospital; a 79-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital; a 77-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital, a 76-year-old man from Spilimbergo who died in hospital and a 67-year-old man from Trieste who died in hospital.

This was announced by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi. The overall deaths amounted to 3,983, with the following territorial subdivision: 916 in Trieste, 2,044 in Udine, 705 in Pordenone and 318 in Gorizia.

The totally healed are 119,793, the clinically healed 198, while the people in isolation are 6,749. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 131,037 people have been positive (the total was reduced by one unit following the review of a case) with the following territorial subdivision: 30,709 in Trieste, 56,871 in Udine, 25,407 in Pordenone , 16,241 in Gorizia and 1,809 from outside the region.

As regards the regional health system, the positivity of 2 socio-health workers, a nurse, an administrative, a technician and an auxiliary of the central Friuli university health authority was detected; a doctor, 7 nurses, a social health worker and a technician from the Giuliano Isontina University Healthcare Company; an administrative, two health and social workers, a midwife and a technician from the Western Friuli health agency; a technician from the regional health coordination agency; a social health worker at Imfr Gervasutta.

Finally, 59 cases were detected among the guests of the residences for the elderly in the region (Grado, Pordenone, Trieste, Cordenons and Gorizia) and 19 cases among the operators of the same (Udine, Pordenone, Grado and San Daniele del Friuli). Two people who returned from abroad or from other regions also tested positive.
