SALERNO – The distribution of vaccine doses to general practitioners for home administration of patients in the Salerno area has begun. Each single health district received an initial supply of 1,000 doses of Astrazeneca and 200 doses of Moderna, with which to supply the doctors for the start of home administration.
Meanwhile, the activities of the local vaccination centers continue regularly, which administer approximately 5,000 doses of vaccine every day, of which 1,500/2,000 doses of Astrazeneca. In addition, 20,000 doses of Pfizer and 30,000 doses of Astrazeneca were delivered to ASL Salerno today.
«It is anticipated that three vaccination centers are about to open: two in Salerno (Cento Sociale di Pastena and Matierno) and 1 in Giffoni Valle Piana. Vaccination activities, therefore, normally continue throughout the territory, with a rhythm that remains closely linked to the supply of vaccines ”, reads a note signed by the ASL Salerno.
