TREVISO. If in recent days after the approval of the decree for the obligation of the Green pass for workers, the number of first doses had significantly increased, recording the first cracks also on the front of the territories of the Pedemontana, which have been less and less prone to vaccination, now the numbers confirm that the no-vax wall of that area is now collapsing in large pieces.
The foothills give way
About 1,500 first doses are administered daily in the Treviso health company (which since the start of the campaign has administered 1.1 million doses) (around 7,000 yesterday in the whole of Veneto); many young people, but also many adults who previously refused the vaccine. Of the 1500, between 300 and 400 daily doses concern exclusively the Pedemontana area which is therefore starting to align itself with the data of the rest of the province. “We are satisfied because day after day we are managing to significantly increase the number of people who have at least the coverage of a dose of vaccine and who are projected to have complete coverage” says the general manager of the health company Francesco Benazzi, who underlines how “In the last few days the mayors of the foothills have been urged again to help the citizens’ vaccination program through their social channels and the communication of their administrations”.
A tandem, the one between ASL and municipalities, which had already been implemented in the past months but without the current results.
The brand picture
And while we continue with the administration of the third doses to the most fragile, the health company is preparing the launch of the vaccination campaign with the third dose also for medical personnel which will start next October 5th. The picture in the Marca is substantially stable and positive, they underline for the healthcare company, highlighting that today there are about sixty hospitalizations in decline, and also the new diagnoses of contagion from the various covid points are decreasing.
Covid point failure
Yesterday, due to a problem with the computer system, the various covid points experienced a few hours of confusion with delays and difficulties in recording the operations that were carried out. The school front continues to be monitored with quarantines to which various classes have been subjected throughout the province, even within the Municipality of Treviso, “but there are no new clusters or dramatic drops” highlights Benazzi waiting to be clearly defined the period and modalities of the quarantine to which the companions of pupils who have manifested the symptoms of covid must be subjected, or the theme of the distance from school of ten or three days (in the case of a negative swab within the first 72 hours of the case).
