This is how Damiano Capaccio speaks, at the foot of the “Maria Santissima Addolorata” hospital in Eboli, where he plays the role of head of the Pneumology department, a few minutes from the beginning of the “white night of vaccines”.
Yet, until a few hours earlier, no one was aware of the initiative. «We started advertising the event on social media and on the streets only a few hours before otherwise we wouldn’t have held up. Just look at how many people came this evening ». And indeed, the glance makes an impression. Just before opening its doors, in front of the Ebolitano hospital there are hundreds of people waiting for a vaccine. Many want to immunize themselves forever, leaving the fourteen months of hell behind.
