Crashes in Vodo and Cortina: two motorcyclists died

CORTINA. Two motorcyclists died in two separate accidents that occurred more or less at the same time, around 5 pm today 27 May 2022, along the Alemagna in Cortina and in Vodo di Cadore.

In Fiames, the centaur collided with a truck and lost his life: currently the Alemagna state road is closed in both directions to allow traffic police surveys and reconstructions of the crash. Anas informs that, in addition to the emergency vehicles, the Anas teams, the Fire Brigade and the Police Forces are present to manage the road network and to allow the reopening of the section in the shortest possible time. Traffic – in both directions – is currently diverted to SR 48.

More or less at the same time a German centaur died in an autonomous off-road vehicle in Vodo di Cadore: the motorcycle traveled the road that goes towards the Talamini refuge and which connects the town with Zoppè. The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Cortina are trying to reconstruct what happened; for the tourist, the health workers could do nothing.
