Crime of Verona, Chiara’s family: “If that man had been in prison our daughter would still be alive”

Fumane (Verona) – “Here it is the Italian justice. This gentleman was under house arrest, with everything he committed. If he had been inside, maybe my niece would be alive. This is Italian justice”. It is a desperate cry that comes out of the house of Luigi Ugolini e Oriana Bonato, Chiara’s parents. “They killed her, they killed her”, the father is desperate embracing relatives and acquaintances who, when it is evening, continue to parade in via Papa Giovanni XXIII in Fumane, a horseshoe-shaped street with terraced houses and the panorama of the Veronese hills.
