Cuorgnè, 15 thefts in 20 days But the thief on trial has disappeared into thin air

On January 6, 2016 he managed to get hold of precious gold and swarovski, then he also struck in Rivarolo

For twenty days it sowed panic in Canavese, with at least fifteen between thefts and attempted thefts in homes, according to the accusation made by the Ivrea prosecutor.

In Cuorgnè, for example, on January 6, 2016 he managed to get hold of precious gold and swarovski. His wake had arrived and also Rivarolo, Favria, up to Ivrea had made itself felt, and then returned to get lost in the Turin province from Leinì to Collegno. Hits enclosed in a well-defined time frame: between 4 and 25 January 2016.

Today, five years later, 31-year-old Kevin Leka is gone. Yesterday, Tuesday 3 May, the second filter hearing was staged before the judge Stefania Cugge in which the judicial police was entrusted with the task of looking for him. To defend him, in the courtroom, was his lawyer Silvia Tonino of the Ivrea bar.

What happened to Leka, however, remains a mystery. From what emerges from the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri of the Company of Ivrea, who identified him, the man was acting at least with an accomplice who, however, is not accused in this trial and has already been sentenced to over three years in prison.

According to the accusations made by the prosecutor, he was the typical house rat who went into action when the owners were away from home, managing to sneak inside in the meantime thanks to his skills. Of course, this is not the famous Arsenio Lupine, who vanishes into thin air without a trace, because the carabinieri managed to identify him. And he also went to trial, last May. But then, like today, he was nowhere to be found, unavailable for the Ivrea judicial offices.

Last Tuesday was the second filter hearing, in which judge Stefania Cugge could only arrange new research. Now the Ivrea investigators will have another year to find him: the next hearing, in fact, is scheduled for May 9, 2023.

It seems that only one of the 15 offended people wants to be a civil party for a theft that took place in Favria.
