Cuorgnè, first Council in Trinity for the Cresto junta: three out of five councilors are women

CUORGNE’. Giovanna Cresto was sworn in as mayor of Cuorgnè in the former church of the Trinity. Sparks at the opening of the session with a hard intervention by the group leader of the Moderates and Independents, Danilo Armanni, who in contesting the choice of place for the first council remarked that it was not shared with the three minority groups.

The junta led by the new mayor is distinctly pink. Three of the five councilors, in fact, are women: Laura Ronchietto, Lara Calanni Pileri, Elisa troglia. The executive is completed by: Giovanni Crisapulli, who will also hold the functions of deputy mayor e Simone Ambrosio.
