Accident at the TDS, during the descent from the hills
(ANSA) – AOSTA, AUGUST 25 – A 35-year-old athlete from the Czech Republic died last night from injuries sustained in a fall while competing in the Tds (“Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie “), 145 kilometers long and 9,100 meters in altitude, which connects the Aosta Valley to Savoy. The organizers announced it. The accident occurred shortly after midnight during the descent from Passeur de Pralognan, in Haute-Savoie (France). The runner was immediately rescued and transported to the hospital. The competition, which is part of the Mont Blanc Ultra Trail circuit (UTMB), has been suspended. (HANDLE).
